Alagaan ang Salaysáy (Take Care of the Story) reimagined monuments through the living voices and personal stories of Filipino nurses. The stories became shorthand for the cultural and emotional infrastructure that nurses have built, one patient at a time.
There was an artist walk through on October 26 at Flux Factory’s Flux IV Gallery. It was followed by the FILAM Fashion show by Paradox Vested Relics with music by Turbo Goth. Filipino American History Month was featured by the FANHS (Filipino American National Historical Society) Metro New York Chapter and treats were provided by Arellano Pandesal.
